2010 International Congress on Twin Studies – COMBO news

The following are highlights from the COMBO meeting held during the June 2010 International Congress on Twins Studies held in Seoul, South Korea:

• COMBO delegates came from the following countries: Australia, Finland, Japan, United States, Switzerland, Germany and Canada.
• COMBO delegates accepted a name change to International Council of Multiple Birth Organisations or ICOMBO to allow for recognition as a global association.
• The concept of International International Multiple Birth Awareness Week was introduced, and it was agreed to hold the awareness every two years during the first week of November, with the first to commence in 2010.
